Information Minister Lenn Eugene Nagbe has confirmed Liberia’s seventh confirmed COVID-19 Case.
It came just a day after health authorities in Liberia confirmed additional three cases in the Country amounting then to six.
According to Minister Nagbe, the new confirmed case is the first non-Liberian to be tested positive of the virus.
The new case, a male turned himself in at the testing center at the Samuel Kanyan Doe Sports Complex in Paynesville.
The individual up till press time interacted a month ago with a Swiss delegation and has not left the Country since December of 2019, Minister Nagbe disclosed.
However, Liberia’s seventh case patient has so far provided his antennary to health authorities for contract tracing.
Meanwhile Liberia’s original three confirmed COVID-19 cases have proven negative for the second time running.
The MICAT boss told the media that the three persons have been removed from the 14th Military Hospital on the Robertsfield Highway and has been send to an observation center for additional fourteen Days before being discharged finally.
