Capitol Hill-A Verbal clash Tuesday morning ensued between Representative Yekeh Kolubah and Deputy Police Director for Operation Melvin Sackor on Capitol hill.
KMTV gathered that a vehicle belonging to Rep. Yekeh Kolubah was “recklessly driving” on the third and was stopped by the police. The police later ordered that the vehicle be driven to the police headquarters, but Rep. Kolubah reportedly insisted after he later arrived on the scene.
Deputy Director Sackor said: “The man was driving very recklessly, and also on the opposite lane. The man was not even in the car, that’s why I told my boys to pull the car over, I told them: ‘This man is very reckless they should take the car to Central, instead of the man asking me, oh 102, what’s going on,’ he started insulting me and the president.”
The verbal clash later ensued between the two public officials, thus prompting Deputy Director Sackor to order the arrest of Rep. Kolubah. The incident led to the obstruction of traffic and free movement on Capitol Hill. Calm was later restored following the intervention of some members of the House of Representatives.
According to Montserrado District#8 Representative, the situation has been resolved after the intervention of House Speaker Bhofal Chambers, but Rep. Kolubah has opted to write a communication to parliament to summon the Deputy Police Boss over an allegation of assault on a lawmaker.
