Since the news broke out about VP Taylor’s illness, there have been speculations due to conflicting information surrounding her health. The VP’s office in a release said she was flown abroad due to respiratory complications, while a medical referral from Health Minister Dr. Wilhemina Jallah stated that the VP was tested positive for COVID-19 on August 10, and was granted permission to travel abroad for treatment.

The Government has remained tight-lipped on VP’s health situation, while her office maintains that she was not tested positive for COVID-19, but is rather faced with respiratory complications.
