Former Bong District #6 Lawmaker Eyeing Senatorial Seat


Citizens of Fumah District Lower Bong County, have unanimously endorsed the candidacy of former district#6 Lawmaker Hon. Adam Bill Corneh to contest the pending Senatorial election in the County.

Speaking recently in Handi Lower Bong County, residents in the area said, the endorsement comes as a result of Hon. Corneh continuous development initiatives being conceded out throughout the county.


According to the youth Chairman of Handi, Moses Mulbah, Bong County will progress under the leadership of the formal District#6 lawmaker and they will achieve mature leadership and several developments when Corneh is elected to the Liberian senate comes December 8, 2020.

The group believes that the former lawmaker is the political face of the county, noting that since Hon. Corneh left the Legislature three years ago “Bong County has lost political consequence.”

The group narrated that with the kind of developments, advocacy, and accountability and Transparency done by the former district#6 Lawmaker over the past twelve years in his district, he can represent the good people of Bong County at the Liberian Senate.

“Hon. Corneh has shown us his leadership ability doing his time at the Legislature. We as citizens of Fumah District have concluded and as of the strong convection that he can represent us at the house of elder comes December 8” Moses added.

For his part, the former district#6 Lawmaker has expressed gratitude over the endorsement and further promised to deliver Bong County from the Hands of those who he described as “corrupt Leaders” if elected senator.

Hon. Adam Bill Corneh served as representative for Bong Electoral district#6 for twelve unbroken years and  was succeeded by Hon. Moima Briges Mensah a current Lawmaker of the district.
