As the cases and conditions of COVID-19 re awaken around the world, Liberia is not left out of the increase in the Global pedemic.
According to the Health Ministry, Liberia current COVID-19 cases has increase to over 1,591.
It can be recalled lately Bomi County Representative and senatorial candidate Edwin Melvin Snow was diagnosed of the virus.
He isn’t the first public figure to get in contact with the virus, former Information Minister Eugene Nagbe, Assistant Minister at the Ministry of Education Latin Da Thong, Nathaniel Blama, former Director of the Environmental Protection Agency amongst others..
Speaking to citizens of Bomi County at a political rally over the weekend, President George Weah encouraged all Liberians to observe all health protocols related to COVID-19.
The President informed the people that COVID-19 is real and as such everyone should take procution.
He said, when one takes care of themselves, they stand the chance to save lives.
Mr Weah encouraged the wearing of the nose mask, washing of hands and observing the social distance especially in public gathering.
The Liberian leader said everyone is important to the development and growth of the country and as such Liberians have to stay healthy.
