Grand Cape Mount: Police Interrogate Murder Suspect

A man identified as  Bashiru has been found dead in Tewor district with legs cut off. He was allegedly killed by Boima Bayour a resident of the area.

On the December 23, 2020 according to alleged perpetrator Bayour, who has been arrested, the incident occurred when he was going on his old-farm and met the late Bashiru.

He alleged that the deceased chopped him and wounded his right arm  when they both had confrontation around Sewu and Kru Town beach.

The incident, Bayour said led him to take out his cutlass and chopped Bashiru, leaving him at the scene and later reported himself after the incident.

“I informed the Town Chief and other local authorities that I had wounded Bashiru and I don’t think he will survive, but the local authorities only advised me to go and take treatment and I left their presence,” he explained.

Unfortunately, residents of the town narrated and alleged that local authorities did not give the late Boima Bashiru  any attention.

Some residents had the believed that Bashiru who was found dead with legs cut was a crazy person.

Since the incident between Bashiru and Bayour on December 23, 2020, Bashiru’s body was found on January 6, 2021 with citizens having separate views.
