Ade Holistic Chief Executive officer Joemade Scott, wants financial support and more networking opportunities for grassroot businesses in Liberia .
Madam Scott said, small businesses are the backbone of every economy and as such more support and attention must be diverted to owners of small businesses especially Liberian owned.
“Small businesses are the backbone of every country economy, so we as Liberians need to support and give attention to Small businesses especially our own Liberian business,” She lamented.
Madam Joemade Scott said, due the Codvid-19 pandemic many small businesses have been affected decaling their purchase and sale power .
She spoke recently at a program meant to bring small businesses across Liberia together to enable them network, share experiences, learn from each other and expose their businesses.
Also at the Program, Senator Gboto Kanneh of Gbarbolu County, who served as motivational speaker during the opening of the event, encouraged business owners as she told her own life struggled and changing stories. ” Success comes through hard work and determination.” She told the gathering as she drive deep into her story as a business woman selling dry meat and then rose to a Senator.
” I used to be a dry meat seller, I was into the business for so many years, I was very consistent and determine. I did not mine what people was saying out there, and I was prayerful and helpful to other people, who I’m I’ now, Senator; so you can be the next millionaire or what who you wish.”
She encourge them to be a pathfinder and said “Life is just a matter of time but it takes determination.”
Participants in joyous mood praised Joemade and her team for organizing such event saying it was an eye opening and is motivating them to do more aimed at improving their business and their living conditions.
Appealing for support, most of the participants grassroot business people call on the public to support their work so as to enable them grow and give more good branding to their businesses sector.
“I feel so motivated from today’s event and I will keep pushing until I see myself at the Zenith, I’m not stopping and I will also like to encourage my fellow Liberian, please let us support our own pride, let help build this country together.”-Maitta David one of the participants stated.
The Program was held at the Bella Cassa Hotel Monrovia under the theme “From Good to Great” and brought together many small businesses owners from across Monrovia and it’s surrounding.
