Deputy Presidential Press Secretary Smith Toby says, government housing projects in Bong and Nimba counties (Marshashu and Pawpaw villages) are at the verge of completion.
He said the houses are left with finishing touches and are also awaiting the date for President George Weah to dedicate and give to the people of Liberia.
The Weah housing project which started in New Kru Town, Montserrado County is affecting almost all parts of the country the Press Secretary said.
The housing units are for the poor and less fortunate what they term who can not afford to build a house.
According to Mr. Toby, After President Weah’s engagement with Bea Mountain concerning its social corporate responsibilities to the county, the Gold Mining Company in Grand Cape Mount County, Bea Mountain has started the construction of roads in that area and is about to construct a modern High and Technical School structure as part of the company’s social corporate responsibility to that part of the country.
Deputy Presidential Press Secretary Smith Toby said, the move of the company is to buttress government effort in promoting quality education for young Liberians.
After several complaints against the company for not contributing to the community, it works with.
