In an effort to boost the team’s progress in the upcoming season and to ease up transportation burden, Liberia First Division side Freeport Football Club have unveiled a brand new bus ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.
The Go Green ostentatiously decorated their official Facebook handle with photos of their new branded 25-seated Ayonda bus valued at 15k United States Dollars (USD) on Wednesday, 7 July 2021.
The new bus, colored green and white will certainly add value to the team in terms of the transportation of players and help them to easily honor their match-day fixtures in the new season.
Freeport joined their league one neighbors Mighty Barrolle, and Women’s Division champions, Determine Girls, in the Liberian football league to capture a private team bus in recent times. Barrolle bought a 22-seated bus back in December last year while Determine Girls became the first ever women’s football side to own a team bus in June 2020.
The 25-seated bus is just another boost for Freeport, a young team who were debutants in the Liberian domestic top-flight league last season.
The team gained a kit sponsorship deal with Saksouk Shopping Center last campaign and, this is just another mouth-watering move by the team’s executives who are keen on making Freeport a top contender for the tittle next season having finished 7th on the league table with 30 points tally in their debut season in the top league last season.
They played 22 league games out of which they collected 8 wins, 8 losses and 6 draws.
