Liberty Party political Leader Sennator Nyonblee Karnga-Lawrence has urged all partisans and supporters of the party to go about their normal activities and to not give credence to a program planned at the party’s headquarters to welcome ANC political leader Alexander Cummings.
Some executives of the Liberty Party headed by the party’s Chairman Musa Bility in collaboration with the ANC organized a planned welcome ceremony to honor the ANC Political Leader Alexander Cummings at the LP headquarters due to space.
But LP Political leader Senator Karnga-Lawrence said she is not in the know of said decision reached for supporters of the ANC and LP to use the headquarters of the Liberty Party for a welcoming ceremony of Mr. Cummings. Senator Lawrence has at the same time informed partisans that the Liberty Party will institute specific measures to deal with situation at hand.
Sources within the Liberty Party have hinted KMTV that Chairman Bility did not consult the party’s political leader and other officials concerning the planned ceremony but went on to endorse the program and encouraged partisans to attend the ceremony.
Meanwhile, Liberty Party Vice Chair for Political Affairs Senator Abraham Darius Dillon has advised Mr. Cummings not to take the situation in the LP to make mockery of the party but instead, work with the head of the party. “DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD WANT DONE UNTO YOU” he wrote on his official Facebook page.Senator Dillon has however joined the LP Political Leader and other officials and stakeholders of the Party to call on partisans to exercise restraints against the “GLARING PROVOCATION AND AVOID ANY PONTENTIAL FOR DIVISION AND CHAOS” Sen. Dillon added on his Facebook page.
