The Referee Committee of the Liberia Football Association has officially released the list of match officials for Match-day One of the 2021/22 Orange National First Division League.
The assignment sees FIFA badged referee George Rogers put in charge of the clash between Mighty Barrolle and Freeport FC at the Doris Williams Stadium in Buchanan.
Rogers, won the Best Referee award in the Male category at the recent LFA Awards ceremony last month following his excellent work during the course of the 2020/21 season.
The title is so far the most prestigious individual accolade the game has to offer for Referees on the local scene.
George was amongst four Liberian FIFA recognized Referees that officiated a 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers match between Burkina Faso and South Sudan on October 11, 2021 at the Grand Stadé de Marrakech in Morocco.
Rogers will be assisted by Ephraim E.
Grant (Asst. #1) and Gleekan Garteh (Asst. #2).
Sylvester Sayon and David Cole will served as Fourth Referee and Match Commissioner respectively.
Another FIFA badged referee, Moses Forkpah has been authorized by the Referee Committee to handle the Nimba derby involving Nimba Kwado and Heaven Eleven at the Nimba Sports Stadium in Sanniquellie.
Abraham Fahnbulleh and Johnny Duncan are the touch judges alongside center Referee Forkpah, with Martin Baar named as the Reserved Referee.
The Match Commissioner for this contest is John K. Sanawulu.
One of Liberia’s most outstanding and international Referee, Hassan Z. Corneh has been employed as the presiding referee for the Watanga FC matchup against Nimba United set to take place at the SKD Mini Pitch in Paynesville.
Benedict Tolowon will work as the First Assistant and James Numaryan as the Second Assistant Referees.
Abraham Kamara will take charge of the substitution board as the Fourth Referee as D. Sheba Brown match commission the contest.
LISCR FC will take on the Invincible Eleven and Majestic Sports Association (IE) at the ATS in Monrovia, and one of Liberia’s youngest elite Referee Emmanuel Mensah will adjudicate the contest.
So far Liberia’s youngest FIFA badged Assistant Referee Joel Doe will handle the flag on the side line as the first assistant, whilst Thomas Konneh takes supervision of the opposite line as second assistant.
Liberia’s chief referee, Lamin K. Kamara will watch from behind as the Reserved Referee with Meek Worquea taking charge as the Match Commissioner.
LIFRA elite class referee Stanley Nush Konah will lead a team of young referees comprising of Elisha Johnson (Asst. #1),Francis Bah (Asst. #2) and Mathew Sloh Fourth Referee at the TUSA field where defending champions LPRC Oilers begin their campaign against newly promoted side, Sandi FC.
Euphenia Wilson will be the match supervisor.
