Orange National League: Liberia Highest Ranked Female Ref Sylvina Garnett to Officiate H. Eleven, Watanga Cruise Battle


Sylvina Garnett has been assigned by the Liberia Football Referee Committee to officiate Heaven Eleven and Watanga’s Match-day two encounter at the E.B. Stadium in Yekepa on Sunday, November 7, 2021.

The match will be the first appointment handed to the lone FIFA badged female referee in the Orange First Division League for the 2021/22 season.

It is also Garnett’s first assignment after winning the Best Female Referee Award at the LFA Awards ceremony in October.

The vigorous female match official will be assisted by Ephraim Grant (assistant referee 1) and Prince Ajavon (assistant referee 2).

Abraham Gandyu will serve as the fourth official, whilst Tifinneh Tanyon serve as match commissioner.

The match is Heaven Eleven’s first home game in the top league and their first ever meeting with Watanga.

Another FIFA recognized match official Hassan Z. Corneh has been appointed to implement the Laws of the Game in the LPRC Oilers and LISCR gruesome clash at the TUSA field at 3:30 PM on the same match-day.

Francis Sannoh will hold the flag on the first touch, whilst Francis Bah control the opposite line. Lamin K. Kamara is the fourth referee in this contest.

Jeremiah Saysay will record happenings as match commissioner.

Corneh officiated Watanga FC and Nimba United match on the League’s opening day at the SKD Mini Pitch back on Wednesday with Watanga claiming the victory.

Emmanuel Mensah will oversee happenings at the North Star Stadium where Nimba United hunt for their first win of the season against Bea Mountain after bowing to 4-0 defeat to Watanga on the opening day on Wednesday.

Thomas Konneh will take charge of the touchline as the first assistant, with James Numaryan going as second assistant. The 4th official for this match is Fidelsco Bestman.

Attorney Cole Bangalu will match commission this face-off.

Emmanuel Mensah adjudicated LISCR and IE’s match at the ATS on Wednesday with LISCR taking the day over the Sunshine Yellow boys.

One of the fiercest game of the day is the Invincible Eleven versus Nimba Kwado matchup set to come live at the Blue Field in PHP, Monrovia.

Liberia’s outstanding referee George Rogers has been authorized to handle the whistle in this banger.

Gleekan Garteh and Mohammed Kiahon will be the respective deputy referees, whilst Joe Macaulay control the substitution board as the reserved referee.

Alex Nagbo will preside as match commissioner.

Koffa Doe, Elisha Johnson, Abu Kengo, and Joseph McGill will officiate Sandi FC and Freeport clash at the Nancy B. Doe Stadium in Kakata.

Koffa will handle the whistle as center referee, while Johnson and Kengo will hold the flag as Assistant Referee-1 and Assistant Referee-2 respectively. McGill will stand back as reserved referee.

Meanwhile, Attorney Benedict Yarsiah will lead the referees as match commissioner.

Moses Forkpah will ensure fair play at Antoinette Tubman Stadium as Monrovia Club Breweries host Mighty Barrolle in a mouthwatering competition.

Club Breweries and Barrolle are both desperate to collect a win after drawing their respective opening fixtures.

Joel Doe, Isaac Mendeh, and Mathew Sloh will serve as Assistant Referees #1 and #2, and fourth official respectively.
Cllr. Izetta Wesley will take charge as match commissioner.
