Business groups since President George Weah motivational statement to them not to sit in the back, they have so far seen themselves as key and central stage to the Government pro-poor agenda.
Currently some of them are complementing government drive to work together to enhance their effective goals.
Well one of such Business establishments is the National Toiletries Incorporated which is owned by Kumba Bendu and Sons.
The NTI for short today as evident of buttressing government efforts donated food and non food items to the Monrovia City Corporation.
Owned by a focus and determine Liberian Businessman Fomba Trawally, the group amongst other things produce made in Liberia tissues, manufacturing of quality mineral water and other toiletry products.
The items according to the National Toiletries Chief Executive Officer Fomba Trawally are the entity’s way of contributing to the “Weah for Clean City” campaign.
Mr . Trawally said the National Toiletries highly welcomed the new dynamic Mayor Koijee especially his initiative to keep Monrovia “Clean, Green , and Safe ”.
He noted that the First Saturday clean up exercise has not been effective since Former Acting Mayor Mary Broh left the Corporation but he is setting and confident that the new mayor due to his past work done over the years will do better for the sanitary condition of the people.
Mr. Trawally pointed out that with the coming of Mayor Koijee , the National Toiletries will partner with the Monrovia City Corporation to maintain the cleanliness of the City.
The items donated include Water, Tissues , Napkins , Trash Cans amongst others .
Receiving the donation on behalf of the MCC , Director General for Internal Operations Caine Andrews Commended the entity for its timely intervention.
Mr. Andrew said the Monrovia City Corporation is open to Local and International Organizations willing to partner to keep the City Clean .
The “ Weah for Clean City ” campaign is slated for this Saturday March 3,2018.
The exercise is expected to bring together Officials of the Government of Liberia, dignitaries, Community dwellers and many others.
The First Lady of Liberia Madam Clar Weah and Monrovia City Mayor Jefferson T. Koijee will lead a parade through the Principle Streets of Monrovia which will commence at the intersection of Broad and Mechlin Streets .
The official program will take place at the Rally Time Market on UN Drive .
Several Liberian Musicians including Eric Geso and Kizzy W have also agreed to participate in the Cleanup exercise .
