Liberia’s Cultural Ambassador Juli Endee on Sunday November 3, 2019 received the Hollywood and African Prestigious award and certificate of honor in Los Angeles, California, the USA.
The HAPAWARDS is an American, multicultural awards show which honors and celebrates the outstanding achievements and performances of community leaders, international political figures, dignitaries, celebrities, and stars who are pioneers in motion pictures, arts, music, and comedy. As well as those individuals or groups who promote social justice through their creative endeavors in the arts.
“For your outstanding contributions and tireless efforts in promoting Peace, Health, Woman’s Empowerment, Arts, Culture and Service to Humanity in Africa”, the group’s certificate of honor to the Liberian Traditional Queen read.
Receiving her trophy and certificate in the jam parked Alex Theater, the Liberian Crusaders for Peace Executive Director lauded HAPAWARDS for the honor which she dedicated to the people of Liberia. She however praised the organizers of the event which she describes as one of the biggest stage for African connection in the US. “Fellow Africans let us continue to celebrate our culture, our diversity, and our work to make Africa beautiful and we continue to grow a strong African solidarity”, Ambassador Endee asserted.
At the same time, Ambassador Endee has made a passionate plead with African Americans and foreign friends to consider doing business in Liberia. She said Liberia is a virgin land with many prospects for successful business investments. She named agriculture, mining, tourism among others as areas where prospects are high for business investments.
Speaking when she served as one of the Panelists of the 3rd Annual Hollywood African Prestigious Awards (HAPAWARDS) business session in Los Angeles, California the USA during the weekend, the Liberia Crusaders for Peace Executive Director encouraged guests and dignitaries to put away the issue of fear and take advantage of the Liberia’s business climate.
Lasting from November 1-3, 2019, the multi-day event line-up included Music, Fashion & Comedy Night with hosts Melanie Comarcho and Seyi Brown; International Business Roundtable & Networking; Red Carpet Affair & Awards Night and After Party among others.
Though the theme was retelling the African Story, the presentations focused on multicultural celebration, highlighting performers such as Jon Jon from the group Troop, Amina Butterfly, international artist, Ilhame Paris. The line-up of famed presenters and honorees included celebs, producers and industry influencers including, Hollywood iconic Directors, Producers, Actors, and writers, Mark Rydell, Miguel Nunez, Jr., and Bentley Evans.
During the weekend-long fanfare, the community was given access to and mingle with stellar business owners, renowned political leaders, and industry influencers. The culmination of celebrations brought together celebrities, dignitaries, businessmen, and women, all of whom were ascend upon the historic, Alex Theater in California, for the awards show and most magical, black night of the year hosted by the industry’s own Liberian and Ghanaian Michael Blackson & Vivica A. Fox, both of whom rocked the stage and made the night memorable.
