Despite the current economic challenges facing the nation and its people some Liberians are striving to put the Country on the map relative to confidence building in the private sector of the Country.
Currently and due to his commitment and dedication to see Liberia heavily and constructively compete with it’s regional, continental and global partners, Liberia is ranked as the number one distributor of Tsingtao Brand on the continent of Africa, a remarkable and land mark achievement, first of its kind in the history of the Country.
The historic milestone did not come easy rather through hard work and passion said Minister Nathaniel Mcgill.
According to him it is now important that Liberians emulate the success story and good example of the Chief Executive Officer of Nyanneh Group of Companies (Wilson Nyanneh)
“We have to help the government and create more jobs especially in the private sector something of which Wilson is doing because national Government cannot do it alone”, he noted.
At times he stated that it is good to take the risk and later on reap the dividend, this he uttered, Mr. Nyanneh did and today he has employed several young people in the society.
Minister Mcgill speaking at the Tsingato Beer Festival Business conference praised China for its continued support and partnership to Liberia of which he indicated, Liberia is grateful.
He wants the people of Liberia to explore Business Opportunities in China and use the Business model which he added is one of the best ways to create jobs for the people.
Minister Mcgill said the infrastructure development, Business and educational opportunities among others giving to scores of Liberians by China are all remarkable initiatives that will not go unnoticed by this Government and Liberians in general.
The Ministry of State Boss encouraged Liberians to make maximum use of current and future opportunities afforded them by the Chinese Government in available sectors to ensure they make a greater impact in the Society.
Delivering a special message at the occasion Chinese Ambassador Fu Jijun termed the Tsingtao Beer Festival as timely especially during the festive season which brings people together with more happiness and fun sharing.
He recommitted the Chinese Government support to Liberia.
Ambassador Fu called for the promotion, connectivity of the world through the setting up of networks as well as learning from development partners on strategies aimed at improving the world for the better.
The Tsingtao Beer Festival first of its kind in Liberia among other things the Chinese Ambassador emphasized is to show case culture exchange, mutual learning among people, trust and respect for each other and many more.
It can be recalled in 2018 Liberia and China signed the belt and road initiative intended to among other things promote infrastructure and capacity building developments, trade and commerce, tourism as well as culture exchange among others.
Also speaking when he provided historical insight about Tsingtao at the Business Conference the Marketing Manager of the Brand in Africa Jacky Xing said the festival did achieve its goal through the promotion of sport, Culture exchange and tourism.
According to him Tsingtao Beer is operating in about one hundred Countries and is making significant impact in the global village.
Currently the brand is among the world’s top five hundred influential brands and it sits at the six position among Beers across the Globe and number one in Asia.
He bragged that the product has graduated from its traditional to contemporary ambition level as it remains refreshing, clean and crispy.
In a brief remarks Deputy Information Minister Lance Gbargonyon said the festival was a unique occasion to Liberia because it will among other things create the space for investors to visit major touristic sites in Liberia and eventually see the need to invest in the Country due to its natural and attractive beauty.
According to him plans are underway for the establishment of Tsingtao Beer Village to be situated at the Historic Providence Island in Monrovia.
He commended China for its support to Liberia and appeal to them to do more especially in strengthening Liberia’s tourism sector.
“We look forward to more partnership and engagements for the betterment of our both Countries and people, he added.
The festival held under the theme: Together is Better For Liberia with the slogan: One Beer, One Festival and One World was organized by Nyanneh Group of Companies official distributor of Tsingtao Beer in Liberia and the continent of Africa at large.
Mr. Nyanneh speaking at the program said the festival among other things show case the unique cultural ties between the two Countries, Peace and Unity, Social Cohesion as well Tourism and many others.
He urged Liberians to improve their Business strategies in order to trade on the bigger market.
According to him the genesis of his success thus far was not an easy task but with passion, focus mind and determination, he was able to achieve his goal.
In 2014 he won a prestigious award in China from the International Brand due to his tremendous work done over the period of which attracted the company to work with him more.
Since ten years now the brand is making significant strides in Liberia and on the continent of Africa, Wilson intoned.
The Taste that translate, as he usually market Tsingato, Mr. Nyanneh stressed that proceeds he generates usual go towards charity.
“I am also into humanitarian work because I feel rendering assistance to the less fortune in society is good, Wilson added.
The historic Belt and Road Tsingtao Beer festival which officially begun on December 19, 2019 was characterized by several activities to include: Business Conference, Dinner Night, Mini Marathon, Football Game and Musical Concert which brought together International and local stars show casing their talents as well as entertaining Liberians at the Samuel K. Doe Sports Complex in Paynesville.
Meanwhile about 3m bottles of Tsingtao have been sole in Liberia since the operations of the product in Liberia, a land mark achievement, wilson noted.
