Bong Kwatekeh Association of Minnesota in partnership with Community Transformation USA has donated several materials to the Bong County Health Team in the fight against the novel coronavirus in the county.

Materials donated include 40 bags of 25Kg rice, 300 gallons of fuel, 40 pieces of mattresses, and assorted detergents amongst others.

Making the presentation of the materials on behalf of the two groups, Moses Bailey, Bong Kwatekeh Association Country Representative and Philip McKay of Community Transformation USA Country said the materials donated signal that Bongese in the Americas have the county at heart and have not forgotten where they came from.

The donation targeted the Phebe Referral Hospital, the COVID-19 treatment unit in Suakoko district, and the C.B. Dunbar Maternity hospital.

Receiving the materials, Bong County Health Team Officer Dr. Adolphus Yeiah appreciated the two organizations for the donation and also used the medium to call for more support for the smooth operations of the Bong coronavirus treatment center.
