CAFOD and Implementing Partners host a one day Information Sharing Conference on Land Rights.


The European Union’s “Civil Society Organizations and local Authorities Program” for Liberia has ended a one-day Information Sharing Conference in Monrovia.
The conference under the theme, “Land Rights for Liberia” discussed the promotion and protection of communities’ land rights for national development.
Speaking at a gathering was the head of development corporation at the European Union Delegation. “The EU believe that Secure asset to land and secure land tenure is vital for the economics development of the people of Liberia specifically for small farmers said Theo Kasper”. Mr. Kasper said the main organizations CAFOD, Welt Hunger, Sustainable Development Institute and its implementing partners have reached over one hundred and fifty remote marginalize communities and groups specifically women and youth across the fifteen counties of Liberia in educating people on the protection of land rights.
