Bong: Caretaker of Motherless Baby Cries for Support

The caretaker of a one-week-old motherless baby is appealing to goodwill individuals to help save the child’s life.

Little Abraham’s mother died last week during delivery at the CB Dunbar Maternity Hospital in Gbarnga just three hours after she gave birth to the child.

The father of the child according to the caretaker, is nowhere to be found.

Annie Kemokai, who took the responsibility to take care of the baby told KMTV that she is finding it extremely difficult to fend for him.

“His mother died and there was no one to take care of the baby, and as a woman, I decided to take him from the hospital but right now I don’t have money to do anything. His food cost 10 USD per week but I am not doing anything to get money for the food,” Annie told KMTV.


“I know our good Liberian people will not allow this handsome boy to die, they can help me take care of him because we don’t know what the future of this little kid will be,” she added.

She stated that it is time for goodwill individual to come in and help little Abraham maintaining that God will multiply whatever help she receives for Abraham.
