Christian Bible Church Ends Spiritual Emphasis – 2020

The Christian Bible Church & Center has officially ended its 2020 month-long spiritual activity known as the Spiritual Emphasis.

In a jubilant mood, the congregation celebrated by dancing and singing special songs of praises to the Most High God, for taking them through.

The Spiritual Emphasis is a usual event that brings together believers of the Lord Jesus Christ for a time of spiritual cleansing.

It is a period of thirty days of fast and prayers.

Held October of each year, the activity is regarded as a period when members of the CBC Ministry as well as chritians from other minitries assembled to receive a special touch from God and to revive their spiritual lives.

Every year, there is a unique theme given for the thirty days activities.

The spiritual emphasis activities are usually held at the central branch of the Christian Bible Church & Center, which is the Tabernacle of Miraculous Encounter, located in CBC Community on the LPMC road in Ganta.

This year, the theme was ‘Dwelling Under the Unspeakable Grace and Peace of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.’

The main scriptural text was, 2 Peter 1:2-4.

This year’s Spiritual Emphasis started on Monday, 27 September, and ended on Friday, October 30, 2020.

There were three services held each day. Mornings, 5-6:00 am, afternoons sessions were conducted from 1:00 pm up to 3:00 pm, while the evenings services lasted between 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm each day.

At the climax of this year’s Emphasis, the General Overseer of the Christian Bible Church & Center, Rev. Alexander Z. Freeman extended a special thanks to people who came from other branches of ministry and also those who are not members of the ministry but formed part of the services.

He give out special token of envelopes to the pastors who are serving as sherperd at other branches of the ministry, including Rev. Nehemiah W. Paye, Pastor Oteewon Surprise Kolleh, Pastor Arthur O. Sharpe and Rev. William Gbahn amongst others.

Meanwhile, the General Overseer also promised to have an elaborate breaking dinner with those who served as workers during the thirty days period.

Rev. Freeman said, the dinner night which is mandatory will be held on Saturday, 7 November 2020 at the Church’s headquarters in Ganta.

He urged all those who served during the course of the services inclusive of pastors, ushers, choristers to be apart of the special dinner night which is also going be the first time ever in the history of the spiritual emphasis.

About 2,536 persons were in attendance during closure of the spiritual emphasis 2020. This compromised of women,men and children.
