Barely few months to the December 8, 2020 Senatorial elections, the Four Collaborating Political Parties (CPP) has officially certificated and endorsed Senator Nyonblee Kanrga Lawrence of Grand Bassa County as their candidate for the upcoming senatorial election.
Presenting the certificate of endorsement on behalf of the CPP, the political leader of the All Liberian Party (ALP) Mr. Bennio Urey, mentioned that they deemed it necessary to certificate and support Senator Lawrence because of her good performance at the Liberian Senate.
He said the flexible relationship that she has built with the citizens and residents as female leader of Grand Bassa County worth emulation.
Speaking at the endorsement program on Sunday at the Liberty Party Headquarters in Buchanan, Mr. Urey said, Senator Lawrence is the best person to represent the CPP as candidate because she has the leadership ability to lead others in the rightfully direction.
Mr. Bennio Urey maintained. “The Bassa people need to make sure that the CPP become victorious on December 8, because I believed that senator Lawrence is capable of bringing together the four collaborating parties and everyone”.
For his part, Liberia’s former Vice President and Political leader of Unity Party, Joseph N. Boakai, said residents and citizens of the Grand Bassa County need to see reasons to support the re-election of Senator Nyonblee Kanrga Lawrence for the benefit of the country.
According to VP Boakai, Senator Lawrence was one of the committed and vigilant lawmakers when he was President of the Liberian Senate.
Senator Nyonblee Kanrga Lawrence, however, thanked and appreciated CPP and all those who attended the program for the love that they showed to her, adding that the huge turnout was surprising to her because she was not in the country when the endorsement program was planned.
The incumbent mentioned that the endorsement program was just the beginning of the overwhelming support from the citizens and residents of the county because she never expected the huge gathering.
Senator Lawrence narrated. “Those aspirants who want to contest against me are looking for their own defeat because the citizens and residents of Bassa have resolved to take control of my re-election”.
Some of those who attended the program were, senator Abraham Darius Dillion, former Vice President, Joseph N. Boikai, Senator Steve Zargo, Chairman of LP, senator Jonathan kaipay-LP, Charlyn Brumskin, Musa Bility, partisans , sympathizers and well wishers among others.
The four collaborating Political Parties is comprises of Liberty Party, Unity Party, All Liberian Party and Alternative National Congress.
