Deputy Commerce Jemima Wolokollie has been dismissed by President George Weah, an Executive Mansion release says.
The decision, according to the release, follows “a string of actions incompatible with Deputy Minister Wolokollie’s status as a senior government official.”
The release further stated that president Weah has urged all officials of government who bear the public trust to conduct themselves properly.
In May of 2018, Madam Wolokollie was suspended for time indefinite by the Liberian Chief Executive for her “insubordinate” attitude towards her boss, Min. Wilson Tarpeh, and “unprofessionalism” on the job.
