The Ministry of Education on Wednesday, July 15, said about 707 Senior High school students across the country are expected to benefit from the distribution of Stationeries (pen, sheets, poster) from the Ministry.
A release from the Ministry said the distribution process will benefit both Public and Private schools across the country and that the ministry’s monitoring and evaluation officers are scheduled to embark on a mission to access the impact of the distribution process.
The government recently reached a decision to commence classes for 41,000 12th graders in preparation for the West African Secondary School Certificate Exams (WASSCE) as a result of several weeks of closures of all schools in the country due to COVID-19. The exam is scheduled to commence on August 17, 2020, and will run up to September 2, 2020.
Meanwhile, the ministry is urging parents to take-up some roles by helping to enforce Heath measures and guidelines in schools in their communities.
