An inpatient at the St. Timothy Hospital in Grand Cape Mount County, Clifford Watson, has described as professional, polite, and caring medical staffs at the entity.
Mr. Watson is recovering from broken legs and said he’s receiving better treatment at the government run facility as compare to other health entities he visited over the last two months.
He was involved in a tragic motor accident on January 22, 2021 that led to his leg breaking three times and experienced a fragile rib.
Mr. Watson who is the Financial Controller of Boutros Security Services in Monrovia alleged that when the incident occurred, he was taken to the John F. Kennedy Memorial hospital in Monrovia but did not received proper care and treatment as he’s getting now.
As his health condition was not improving Mr. Watson said, he got a tip off about a Doctor from the USA , identified as Dr. James Appel assigned in Robertsport City, Grand Cape Mount County and decided to take advantage of treatment there.
Dr. James Appel is a professional surgeon and X-ray specialist working at the St. Timothy hospital and has worked at several medical centers in the country.
” When I entered the St. Timothy hospital, I met him and explained my condition and he assured me that I will get back on my feet in order to sustain my family,” Watson asserted.
Meanwhile, Watson said, the first surgery that was done by Dr. Appel and treatment he’s receiving from other medical workers gave him hope of walking and a good mental relief to his condition.
He at the same time, requested national government to apply more efforts in reaching out to the rural areas in order to upgrade various healthcare centers which he believed will solve the many health related issues faced by Liberian.
