House of Representatives Lifts Yekeh Kolubah Suspension


The plenary of the House of Representatives has with immediate effect lifted the suspension on Montserrado county district#10 Lawmaker, Yekeh Kolubah.

In a letter from the chief clerk,Mildred N. Sayon, noted that the lifting of the suspension indicates that all rights and privileges of the Lawmaker are hereby restored.

The communication also added that salary, benefits, Gas and allowance are also restored.

It can be recalled that the House of Representatives took a decision to suspend Rep. Yekeh Kolubah on May 18 2021, for 16- meeting days.


The decision to have suspended Representative Yekeh Kolubah was filed through a communication from Montserrado county district# 5 Lawmaker, Thomas P. Fallah.

Representative Fallah alleged of the constant abuse of the Liberian presidency by Representative Yekeh Kolubah, something which prompted that body to have suspended him.

Meanwhile, Representative Kolubah has filed a rite of prohibition at the supreme Court of liberia.
