Buchanan- Police in Grand Bassa County have arrested and are investigating a 23-year-old man identified as Alphanso Manah for allegedly killing a 26-year-old man in the County.
The Police’s report says Manah allegedly banged a stick on the head of the deceased, Marcus Mulbah, which led to his death.
Grand Bassa Police Spokesperson Onesimus Garway told journalists on Wednesday that the incident occurred on Tuesday, August 11, in the “Dirt Hole Camp”, a community in the Liberia Agriculture Company rubber plantation where the deceased and the alleged murderer are said to have gotten in a fight.
Grand Bassa Police spokesman Garway said victim Mulbah was examined and later pronounced dead by health workers of the LAC Hospital in the district.
Mr. Garway added: “We are so sorry for the incident that has occurred but we can have assured the public that justice will be served into this matter as it stands the police have launched an investigation into the matter.”
