Josephus Torjilar Takes Charge of Title Decider Between Kwado and Oilers


In few hours, Josephus Sargbah Torjilar, an outstanding Liberian match official will be  in charge of the crucial title deciding clash involving Nimba Kwado and reigning champions LPRC Oilers in Sanniquellie, Nimba County.

Torjilar who was handed a suspension by the LFA in August of 2019 after being found guilty of a bribe allegation was recently pardoned and has been in action for the last two match days of the Orange National League.

He will be assisted on the opposite touches by Johnson Gbartea and Joel W. Doe in the heated Match-day encounter. Washington Dolo will served as the reserved referee.

Meanwhile, Mohammed Bah one the youngest referees in the Orange National League will stand in the middle of the pack at the Gompa Sports Stadium where Nimba FC will be playing host Capemount giants Bea Mountain this afternoon.

The flags will be raised by Francis Bah on the first touch and Julius Pongay at the other end. Nimba-based referee Martin S. Baar will handle the substitution board.

This will be the young referee’s second match in charge at the Gompa Sports Stadium this season having presided over a 2nd Division match between Ganta Almighty and Mighty Blue Angels last November in a match which the homeside lost 2-0.

At another match venue, Liberia international referee Moses Forkpah has been given authority to adjudicate a tough fight between Watanga FC and NPA Anchors at the Blue Field in PHP, Central Monrovia. Forkpah will sound the kick-off whistle at 3: 30 PM.

Abraham Fahnbulleh is being assigned on the line as the first assistant whistle Gleekan Garteh goes on as the Assistant Referee-2 and Lamin Kamara as the fourth referee.

Nimba United are set to embattle relegation as they host 3-rd Placed LISCR FC at the North Star Stadium in Mount Barclay. FIFA referee Hassan Corneh and his team which includes Sekou Kanneh (assistant #1), Thomas Konneh (assistant #2) and Abraham Zuah, fourth official will be the decision makers.

Young promising referee, Stanley Konah has been appointed to oversee the Monrovia Club Breweries and Small Town’s clash at he TUSA Field in Gardnersville. The match will commence at 3:00 PM.

Konah will be accompanied by Elisha Johnson, James Numayah and Jerry Yekeh.

Johnson is Assistant Referee-1, while Numayah serves as Assistant Referee-2 and Yekeh as the reserved.

Joe Macauley center referee, Assistant Referee-1 Ephraim Grant, Assistant Referee-2 Benedictus Tolowon, and substitute referee Roger P. Brown will take care of the Mighty Barrolle versus Freeport FC’s flaming clash at the TUSA Field later this evening at 5:30 PM.
