Lawrence G. Cooper Foundation Launches Tuition Free Mobile Vocational Institution


In an effort to enhance quality education in Liberia, the Lawrence G. Cooper Foundation has For the first time launched a tuition free Mobile Skills Training Institution for more than three hundred youth and adults particularly Women residing in the Garzon Reserve District, Division 16- Firestone, Lower Margibi County .

Speaking Saturday April 3, 2021, the Director of the foundation’s training and scholarship programs , Jimmy Frank said, the skills training initiative is part several initiatives from the organization’s CEO, Mr. Lawrence Cooper, a Liberian residing in the USA.

He explained that within three months, students of the Lawrence Cooper Mobile Skills Training Initiative will be self- sustainable, as they will all acquired skills and  receive recognized certificates in Driving, Interior Decoration, Catering, and Hair Dressing amongst others .

“We are here to launch a modern Mobile skills Training Initiative made possible by our CEO, Lawrence G. Copper who’s currently in the United States of America as part of his efforts to giving back to Liberians. Through him, our foundation has launched this training circle which runs for three months “, Jimmy Frank, explained.

Meanwhile, Beneficiaries from the Lawrence G. Copper Foundation have expressed Gratitude to the founder  for his farsightedness describing it rewarding and “Talk and Do” .

Mrs. Kebbeh Morris speaking to KMTV called on the Lawrence Cooper Foundation for more opportunities in for thousand of Liberians .

She said the foundation has been providing scholarship opportunity to several school going kids in Margibi and its environs.

“I want to say thank you to Mr. Cooper, he has really been a help to us in this County, our children and we as parents have benefitted from his opportunity. We are also appealing to him to continue with this help” she added.

Making a brief remark at the program, Margibi County Electoral District#2 Lawmaker Hon. Ivar K. Jones encouraged students of the Foundation to make use of the free training opportunity provided. In his words, education and discipline are the best gifts any parent or individual can give to a person in need of assistance .

” Let me begin by appreciating the provider of free training, Mr. Lawrence G. Cooper and his foundation. It’s proven the world over that the best gifts your parents or any individual can give you are good education and discipline .

As you begin the search of knowledge in your various areas of studies with this foundation , let me encourage you to remain focus on determine if you want to achieve .  Without focus and determination, you won’t succeed here or anywhere”, Rep. Ivar K. Jones, added .
