LEAP Joins The Fight Against COVID-19


The Leadership and Education for Africa Program (LEAP) has made available series of huge consignment of food and non food items to organizations in Montserrado county.

The Initiative comes in the wake of the devastating crises the wold is faced thus leaving Liberia to no exception.

With numerous contributions being made by lots of organizations, LEAP has joined the force in identifying with schools, community based institutions as well as churches by providing food and non food items.

The items includes over hundred begs of rice, nose masks and other detergents.

Institutions that benefited from the Leadership for Education Africa Program(LEAP) are as follow: Victory Mission School, Happiest People Christian Academy, Mount Zion Academy, Harmon Yarlateh Academy, Christian Arena School, Flaming Bilble Church Academy.

The donation was specifically made to Ebola survival and orphans of some named institutions.

According to the Implementing head of the project, LEAP move is a showcase of positive gesture that will benefit the lives of Liberians especially with such situation.

According to him the need for giving back to society is important for nation building.

LEAP, which is a relief arm of the Light Streams Chapel is basically involves education investment in Africa with focus to the young populace who are futures leaders.

The Light Streams Chapel Head noted that LEAP projects are continual contributions in the uplifting of Liberia and Africa at large.

Meanwhile, beneficiaries of the mentioned organizations extended their thanks and appreciation for the remarkable gesture taken by the Leadership and Education for African Program(LEAP).

According to the beneficiaries, the gesture was timely and will have impacts on them.

Teachers who were the direct recipients highlighted the importance of the donation which according to them is a relief in the midst of schools closure.
