Liberia U-20 poised to make history?


The U-20 Team of Liberia will battle Mali in the Semi Final stage of the WAFU tournament today at the SKD Sports Complex in Paynesville City by 6pm.
The game is expected to be witnessed by record fans after an outstanding 5-1 victory over Sierra Leone at the ATS last Saturday.
The players according to latest information are in full gear to over power a brilliant Malian side to ensure she moves to the Grand Finals of the WAFU tournament first of its kind in the Country.
Skipper David Tweh, the hat tracker Musa Kabbah and Sam Jackson are all in great form to put smiles on the faces of Liberians especially chief patron of Sports, George Weah.
In game one tournament favorite Ivory Coast will face Gambia at 4pm.
The grand finals of the tournament will take place on Sunday at the SKD as the fans of the four teams are all eager to reach the Grand Finals and subsequently clinched the giant size trophy.
