Immigration Service Attributes Lack of Officer at Some Crossing Points to Road Inaccessibility

The Liberia Immigration Service has attributed the lack of its men at some crossing points to the inaccessibility of roads.

Speaking Thursday at the Ministry of Information regular press briefing, the LIS Boss said out of the 176 bordering points with neighboring countries only 46 are being guarded by Immigration officers.

Commission Robert Budy also disclosed that several weapons have discovered officers at some of the crossing points.
