Liberia’s Cabinet Approves Five Years Development Plan Ahead Of Official Launch Of The Pro Poor Agenda Saturday


Senior cabinet ministers Friday approved the government national development plan.

Members of the executive took the decision in Gbarnga Bong County after the end of the crucial meeting chaired by President George Weah.

The decision now paves the way for the official launch of the much publicized pro poor agenda for development and prosperity.

The five years medium term plan will after its launch by Dr.Weah address key priority issues of the Country.
Over the past months President Weah has emphasized that the pro poor agenda of his government will ensure that road construction,education,health care, Security, infrastructure development and many others will top the policy document.

After the launch Saturday it is expected in the coming months and years that practical implementation of the policy will be realize in a move to see tangible impact on the life’s of the people.

Meanwhile the official launch of the policy document will be launch by the flag bearer in Ganta City,Nimba County on Saturday.
