Malaysia-based striker Kpah Sherman scored the lone goal as PKNS FC collected all three points against PKNP FC at the Shah Alam Stadium in Salangor, Malaysia.
It took just three minutes for Sherman to score the opener which became the ultimate decider after both teams failed to get another goal during the rest of the 90 minutes.
The goal was Sherman’s second out of three league appearances so far in the new Malaysia Super League season.
The 27-year-old opened his goal scoring account in the Malaysia Super League on February 17, 2019, in his team’s 4-0 win against FA Salangor. In an interview with local newspaper after scoring his first league goal Sherman said “It was amazing scoring my first goal for PKNS. Scoring the first goal is always the hardest thing to do after building confidence in yourself and I hope I continue.”
After his second successive league goal, all seems to be going well so far for the national team striker.
PKNS FC have now collected seven points out of four games in the 2019 Malaysia Super League.
