MAP Transition to ACTS


The Medical Charity, Medical Assistance Program International say it is transitioning to a local partner organization in Liberia. MAP International has been in Liberia providing services to Liberians in different sectors of needs most especially health. The Organization has disclosed its operations will be handle by a newly form Liberian based NGO; Action to Transform Lives (ACTS) as part of it new mandate to build local partnership capacity. Meanwhile a board of Directors has been constituted to handle the two Organization transitioning process. Thomas Borwah is the head of MAP International office in Liberia, he made the disclosure Thursday, when he officially unveiled members of the Board of Directors of ACTS. In his official taking over statement, ACTS Board Chair, Patrick Wesseh expressed thanks nd appreciation to the MAP Liberia office for the confidence repose in them to lead the Action to Transform Lives. Mr. Wesseh expressed confidence that the board will oversee and organization that will adequately replace and replicate the work of MAP in Liberia to benefit Liberians.
