Former President of the Liberia Football Association Musa Bility has vow to fully support the new football administration in Liberia led by Mustapha Raji in a move to see the game further improve.
According to him it is time that football take a new and developmental trend in the Country something he pointed out can only happen if all stakeholders and technicians of the game work closely together to ensure they achieve one goal.
Mr.Bility calls on the pro poor government to see support to football as a cardinal instrument for the growth of the traditional sport in this nation.
“I will refrain from public criticism of the Raji’s administration and if I see or observe any issue I will rather covertly have it discussed with the team in a bid to have a proper solution and I think this is the right way to go”,Bility added.
He at the same time praised the young breed of talents/players in Liberia but was quick to mention that indiscipline is as well killing the performances of most them in Liberia.
Additionally he noted that unlike in the past current young players are not placing urgency to the game making reference to the current national team.
“We need to see our national team do more,we need to see our players showing more for their Country through hard work, discipline and let them desist from complacency sedrom” which he noticed is one of the attributing factors for the inconsistencies in the team’s performances, the ex-LFA boss indicated.
At the same time the current President of the Liberia Football Association Mustapha Raji has reiterated calls for more financial and moral support to football across the Country.
Raji told reporters that once the government and other corporate entities support the game couple with the fans motivational attachment it will help bring a good boast to the game.
He commended the players for their splendid performances displayed in the just ended national league season though short but it was fantastic he noted.
The 2018 league season successfully ended with the presentation of several awards to deserving players to include: Trokon Myers highest goal scorer on nine goals, Saydee Swen of LPRC oilers best goalkeeper,Aloycious Saymujlah best defender and Robert Larteh best coach among others.
