“No mountain too high to climb” Solicitor General Designate Assures Liberian

Liberia’s Solicitor General Designate has committed and assured what he calls “total manifestation” of recent pronouncement made by President Weah to prosecute those indicted by previous audit reports.

Speaking Thursday at the Ministry of Information Regular Press Briefing, Cllr. Syrenius Cephus   said the president’s pronouncement of “War on corruption” is a public outcry that will seek the country interest at the fullest.

According to him, his team of prosecutors has commenced the review of reports by the GAC and LACC in an effort to signal early warning to those that will be culpable of squandering public resources.

Meanwhile, the Solicitor General Designate has guaranteed an inclusive justice of restitution and prosecution against all individuals indicted into reports by the auditing Commission if confirmed by the senate.

Cllr. Syrenius Cephus is quoted as saying, “There will be no hiding place, no one too big to confront, a statement he made in reference to legal actions that will be instituted against alleged corrupt officials.

“A critical and comprehensive review of all reports that were submitted by the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission against individuals on allegation of corruption and mismanagement of public funds for person gains in whic no action has been taken has begun”, he added.
