Orange Foundation Donates COVID-19 Materials to Hospitals


The Orange Liberia Foundation on Wednesday July 14, 2021 donated assorted anti-COVID materials worth more than Fifty Thousands United States Dollars to major hospitals in Monrovia and its surrounding.

Madam Sarah Buchanan, CEO of Orange Foundation, said the entity is concern with the growing cases of COVID-19 in the country and that the donation is part of Orange continuous efforts in aiding the government and people of Liberia defeat the Corona virus pandemic in the country.


‘‘We have been in communications health facilities we know are treating more COVID-19 patients and that’s why we have selected the first five hospitals which are benefiting from this donation today.

There are plans to extend similar gesture to the 15 counties.” She Lamented.

She Concluded by calling on Liberians to take measures put in place by the government seriously to enable us defeat the current wave of the virus in the country.

Taking delivery of the items, representatives of the five institutions praised Orange Liberia and other organizations for their continuous support to Liberia’s health sectors and promised to work continuously for the people of Liberia and to also use the materials received for the purpose intended for.


Dr. Willimena Jallah, Minister of Health, applauded the GSM company for their support that helped boost the work of the ministry of health.

‘‘We are not surprised by Orange Liberia Because this is not their first time providing similar support to us. All we can say is thank you and we are asking other entities and organizations to follow suit, even those in the county- your little support is needed’’ She added.

Climaxing, Dr. Jallah praised Liberians and residents for their cooperation and collaboration stating that she’s impress by their actions and that she’s confident Liberia will defeat COVID-19.
