The road to the mid-term Senatorial election is just next door but the bigger doors ahead of the 2023 election is still miles away, however, political pundits and heads of institutions are now predicting politically what will happen in 2023 especially with the current trends of events taking place from the opposition block.
Well one of such groups is the Liberia Albino Society, though nonpolitical but the Executive Director of “LAS” Patricia N.C. Logan believes that with what is ongoing in the opposition now, she predicts that, “There will be more fight between them”.
She observed that leadership struggle, a claimed disorganization, envy and jealousy are among the latest challenges that are eating up the focus of the opposition block”, she noted.
The tendency of I, Me and Myself did no good for Liberia and this is the same path key members of the opposition are taking and it will bring about their Down-Fall, madam Logan disclosed and alleged.
She encouraged the opposition if they mean will for the Liberian people to organize themselves well and capitalized on the ruling establishment lapses and work on it for the betterment of the Country.
The LAS boss latest statement is in reference to recent assertion from the Chairman for the Collaborating Political Party Benoni Urey in which he disclosed that he prefers the former Vice President of Liberia Joseph Nyemah Boakai than the Alternative National Congress flag bearer Alexander Cummings to serve as head of the “CPP” something she noted is just the beginning of their division if not handle maturely.
“They are jokers and do not mean well for the Country”, The LAS boss noted.
The statement by Mr. Urey has so far spark mixed views in the opposition corridors with some in favor and some against especially those from the end of the ANC.
Currently she told reporters that the government needs more time to perform and the so called protest, political pressure and unnecessary criticism are not timely and will not do well for Liberia.
Madam Logan at the same time urged President George Weah to be very careful with some of his key officials of his Government who she pointed out pretends to love his government and is working in his interest but at night and in the back they gossip him and say a lot of negative things.
“They can be paid at any time to harm you, be on the alert”, she warned Dr. Weah.
From the eyes of faith, she predicts that President Weah unlike in the past is now observing how his government is being run from some members of the executive and will shortly make a major shakeup in government.
She used the occasion to call on Liberians to support the current government and if they have issues, let them wait on 2023 general elections, she uttered.
She was speaking at the climax of the Liberia Albino Society 21 Days fast and prayer for the organization and the Country at large.
In a more religious mood, she urged Liberians to draw closer to God in order for him to help the Country because currently she added that too many bad things are taking place in the world and Liberia is of no exception and only national prayers can help deliver the Country.
