Police Fire Tear Gas to Disperse CoP Protesters


Police in Monrovia have used tear gas to disperse protesting members of the Council of Patriots who were marching towards the capitol building.

The CoP members are protesting against the Weah led government due to what they call the growing economic hardship, and corruption, amongst others.

According to the spokesperson of the Liberia National Police, the group wasn’t given a permit to protest today. No arrest has been made up to press time.
