President George Weah has returned home after an official visit from Dakar,Senegal.
The Liberian leader touched down the Roberts International Airport Friday morning at 11:00am local time along with a delegation of about twenty persons.
As part of his official visit Dr. Weah witnessed the independence and induction ceremonies of his Senegalese counterpart Makey Sall.
Following the ceremony president Weah also head side meetings with heads of states of ECOWAS including Guinean President Alpha Conde, Nigerian President: Muhamudu Buhari and Gambian President Adama Barror.
The Liberian leader also held separate discussions with Guinean President Conde for the shipment of iron ore between the two Countries through the inter ministerial committee initiative.
Additionally, discussions on the protection of security in the sub region was held.
In a drive to improve trade and commerce, the Liberian leader conducted meetings with the business community in Senegal with a move for common trade between the two nations.
Meanwhile and as testimony of his recent visit to the United Arab Emirates, a twenty three men delegation is expected in the Country next week.
The delegates will explore key sectors of Liberia to include: Health Agriculture, Tourism, Business, Education amongst others,with the hope of improving those sectors for the common good of the Country and its people.
