President George Weah To Meet With High Power UN Peace Building Commission Delegation Next Wednesday, Poised to Hold Discussions With The UN Team & Diplomatic Corp Saturday


President George Weah will on Saturday November 2, 2019 hold a major meeting with the United Nations Team in Liberia.

The Meeting according to Presidential Press Secretary Isaac Solo Kelgbeh is part of regular presidential routine including consultations all geared towards enhancing the work of national Government.

As part of the meeting, the Liberian leader will listen to some of the concerns and issues of his partners and find a common front in a collaborative style to help move Liberia forward, said Mr. Kelgbeh.

He told executive mansion reporters that pertinent issues to the forward march of the government and development partners are expected to be high on the agenda, nothing that said gathering will take place at the Jamaica Resort on the Roberts International Airport Highway.

Additionally, diplomatic missions here in Liberia will also meet the Liberian leader to discuss the fostering of common diplomatic ties in the best interest of all.

At the same time a high power United Nations Peace Building Commission Delegation will also visit Liberia on November 6, 2019 and subsequently hold a meeting with President Weah relative to peace building and other related issues among others.

The four-member UN Team meeting will be held at the Foreign Ministry in Monrovia on next Wednesday.
