President Weah Completes LWSC Management Team As New Deputy Managers Inducted Into Office


The Managing Director of the Liberia Water And Sewer Corporation Duannah A.Kamara has inducted into office two new deputy managing directors to include Marzer Jarbar, Deputy Managing Director for Sales and Marketing and Sensee J.Morris Deputy Managing Director for Finance respectively.

The new two deputies now completes the management structural team of the corporation.

Inducting the new managers into office was their boss Duannah A.Kamara who welcomed them to their new positions and encouraged them to work as a team to ensure that they achieve one goal of the pro poor agenda for prosperity and development.
He said with focus and collectivity as a team they can yield fruitful result together.

Delivering his induction speech the new deputy managing director for finance of the LWSC Sensee J. Morris thanked President George Weah for reposing confidence in him to serve.

He praised his boss for helping to gradually transform the corporation despite some challenges.

He named the employment of some long serving contractors at the white planes into the corporation as one of the key achievements thus far.

Sensee assured his new family that he will cooperate with all if the sole intent is to promote the pro poor agenda as well as meeting up with the full compliance of the corporation but was also quick to add that he will be non cooperative to those who will not be in line or conformity with the policies and dreams of the LWSC.

Unlike in the past and owing to new strategies they have in place he promise to pay his employees on time.
” Beginning the end of November your salaries will come on time”,he added.
A statement that was graciously welcomed with huge applauds from the workforce.

He thanked the entire workforce both employees and contractors for their commitment and passion to their work noting that more needs to be done.
Speaking further he pointed out that he came to the corporation not as an impediment to growth rather a major contributor to the success and fulfillment of the pro poor agenda for prosperity and development.

Morris admitted that the corporation has numerous challenges to include the payment of employees on time,huge debt they have for others including the ones that Liberians have for the corporation respectively.

Sensee told his people that with unity and one focus they will work to make the LWSC a reliable source of clean and safe drinking water for the general population of the Country.
Also speaking at the program was the managing director of Sales and Marketing of the corporation Marzer Jarbar who termed the program as a historic one for him.
He said it is always a privilege for him to serve his people promising to do his best in the interest of the people.
Attorney Jarbar at the same time lauded Dr. Weah for giving him such opportunity to serve his people and Country, promising to do his best for Liberia.

In brief remarks the Deputy Managing director for technical services Dan Saryea said they are well committed to cleaning up the mess as well as thievery within and out of the system.
He said they are wrorking very hard to help transform the corporation for the best.
“We will go into all of our service areas to work aggressively and provide the necessary services to its peple in a more effective manner and form”, he added.
The technical services boss appealed to Liberians to follow the proper procedure and avoid stealing water.
He threatened that the LWSC will not hesitate in arresting more people caught in water theft.
With the completion of the management team of the LWSC more is expected of them to ensure effectiveness at that key government corporation.
