PUL is surprise that these unfortunate situations took place at the Headquarters of the Liberia National Police in the presence of commissioners of the Liberia National Police.

“We view the latest attacks by the police as an attempt to force the media into self censorship but called on the media to remain steadfast in telling the Liberian story”.

In furtherance, Another Journalist, Benjamin Toby of the Cyclone Newspaper was also released on Tuesday from jail to the Press Union of Liberia.

He spent Monday night in police custody at zone 4 depot 1 in Garndersville.
