Death threat, lawsuit and intimidation have characterized latest media alert report released by the Press Union of Liberia .
The report unveils one attack, one death threat and one security threat including a lawsuit on Liberian Journalists and media houses respectively.
According to the sixth quarterly report of the PUL those linked to such practice are mainly in the public and private sectors of the Country.
The PUL is therefore calling on the media community to help further publicize these Alert reports because it will go a long way in exposing any unfavorable cloud that could be hanging over the media in Liberia.
The sixth quarterly report covers from July to September.
It can be recalled that the Alert office was set up in 2017 by the PUL in collaboration with USAID funded Internews under its media development project.
During the inauguration of the Alert office between the period of April to June which marks the 5th Alert report highlighted the murder of young Liberian journalist Tyron Brown, a situation that was highly published in the Liberian media.
