Rep. Cole Identifies with Constituents

Smiles are on the faces of residents of several towns and villages in Bong County, Liberia,  as Jorquelleh District #3 Representative Josiah Marvin Cole begins the distribution of over 1000 bags of 25kg rice.

The Lawmaker is also making a cash donation of $5 milliom Liberian Dollars and these gestures according to him are part of his ‘Legislative Engagements’.

He said, his desire is to help ease the difficulties his people are  encountering to provide their daily meals and to also identify with the citizens as they gear towards the independence Celebration in Liberia.

The cash Contribution started a week ago  which witnessed local business people benefiting at least $5,000 Liberian dollars each as contribution to their micro business.

On Saturday July 17, 2021, market women  benefited from a  $1.1Million Liberian Dollar

In Kayata, the Lawmaker made available 65 bags of rice, 50 bags of cement and little over 2,000 United States Dollars.

Representative Cole also presented 95 bags of rice to Gorfarm, Melekee and other nearby villages and $70,000 LD.

Also in David-ta and it’s surrounding, the Lawmaker’ provided 40 bags of rice with little over $20,000LD.

Rep. Cole has reaffirmed his committement to always supporting the livelihoods of the people.“I have told you over and again that I am your Leader, before you can elect me in 2017, I promised to work for you so it will always be my responsibility to seek your well-being and livelihood improvement.”

Some of the citizens who have already benefited from  the rice and cash donations are hailing Rep. Cole for what they called ‘timely donation’.

Habakkuk Leetor, the Youth Leader of Kayata town  said, it was a dream come through to see their town receiving 50 bags of cement for the completion of major projects in their town as well as the rice.

“My brother, some of us were thinking about how we will get food for the 26th celebration, we were not expecting this huge donation. Even when we heard that Hon. Cole was coming to give us something, we actually thought it just five or ten bags but 65? I don’t even know how to say thank you to Hon Cole” he maintained.

Also speaking in Gorfarn, Quitan Flomo expressed happiness, promising that her entire family will always support the District #3 Lawmaker.

The rice Distribution continues in Wainsue ,Gbarnga  and other towns in the area.

  1. Thanks for your posting on this blog site. From my experience, occasionally softening up a photograph could provide the professional photographer with a chunk of an artistic flare. Many times however, the soft blur isn’t exactly what you had at heart and can quite often spoil an otherwise good image, especially if you intend on enlarging them.
