LISCR FC midfielder Sekou Sheriff and LPRC defender Alvin Maccornel have been dropped from the list of local players called up for the Lone Star upcoming match against DR Congo after falling medical test, the Liberia Football Association (LFA) has revealed.
The LFA did not disclose what medical problem the two players had that caused them to fail the test.
Defender Maccornel was part of Lone Star starting line up during the Zimbabwe match, but was later substituted due to injury.
Sheriff and Maccornel were among 26 local-based players recently called up by national team head coach Thomas Kojo to begin preparation for the DR Congo clash slated for March 22, 2019.
The team will commencee training sessions tomorrow, Wednesday at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium.
