Senate Staffers Stage Protest on Capitol Hill in Demand of Salaries


Some workers at the Liberian Senate are protesting on Capitol Hill in demand of salaries and benefits.

The staffers blocked the Senate Pro Tempore’s vehicle by lying under it and assemble at the entrance of the capitol building.

The spokesperson for the aggrieved staffer identified as Mr. Brown and Noah Z. Gibson were seeing lying flat on their stomach under the Senate Pro Tempore vehicle.

It can be recalled a staffer of the Judiciary Branch of government Mr. Archie Ponpon set himself on fire during a protest as staffers were demanding their salaries.
