Montserrado County Senator Abraham Darius Dillon, Tuesday brought into the chambers a self-use portable microphone to project his message during session.
It follows health warning from the country’s health officials when they appeared at that body recently and cautioned the Senate plenary not to rotate one microphone while in their sessions.
According to our reporter, it was a surprise to seen Mr. Dillon with his own microphone among his colleagues at their Tuesday’s sitting but during rallies failed to use self -microphone at various political campaigns.
For instant during the recent December 8, 2020 elections campaign, the Senator while carrying on his political activities to secure his position at the Liberian Senate, was never seen with self-microphone.
At the same time, the Liberian Senate’s inability to assign individual microphones to each senator has been a major concern even amongst them for a lasted period.
