Senator Karnga-Lawerence Exposes Expired Management Service Contract Between LEC and ESBI Engineering

The Liberian Senate has mandated it’s committee on Public Corporation, Concession and Judiciary to investigate communication filed by Grand Bassa County Senator Nyounblee Karnga-Lawrence that Liberia Electricity Corporation (LEC) and ESBI Engineering & Facility Management are operating with an expired management service contract.

According to the communication, the commencement date of the management service contract between LEC and the company is January 8, 2018 and ended January 8 of this year.

The two years contract according to the  agreement has come to an end and needs renewal.

”To the best of my reasonable recollection, this contract has not been renewed and or extended in compliance  with the Liberian Law”, she said.
