Lofa County Senator Stephen Zargo, has once more drew the attention of the Liberian Government to the unbearable and deplorable road conditions facing his kinsmen .
The Lofa County Senator told his colleagues at the Senate that, roads connectivity problems needs urgent attention by the government of Liberia.
Senator Zargo while giving report on his annual constituency break pointed out that his kinsmen have enough food that cannot be transported to other parts of Liberia due to the deplorable road conditions.
According to the Chairman of Lofa Legislative Caucus, the unavailability of good roads connectivity is obstructing farmers to transport their agricultural produce to other areas especially in Montserrado County.
”Foods are in abundance in my county, but no way to get them to parts of the country,” he told his colleagues.
The Lofa County Lawmaker at the same time said the action by the government not providing the county ‘urgent need’ seems that Lofa is leftover in the CDC Led-Government deliverance to the people of Liberia.
He believes the current situation Lofa is faced with is embarrassing and contradicts the government’s manifestos.
According to him, the county is surrounded by numerous of challenges to include insecurity, land dispute, lack of health service and education among others.
The Lofa County Lawmaker noted that his county is under serious hardship due the ‘government’s Insensitivity’ to the cries of that segment Liberia population.
