Senatorial Aspirant Benard Benson to File Rite of Prohibition Against NEC Voter’s Roll Update Exercise


Montserrado county Senatorial Aspirant Benard Blue Benson, has vowed to file a rite of prohibition on the current voter roll update excise ongoing by the National Elections Commission (NEC).

Mr. Benard Blue Bension on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 also filed a letter to the National Elections Commission flagging out “several irregularities” in the   current voters’ registration process done in preparing for the December 8 Senatorial elections.

The Montserrado Political icon is quoted in his letter sent to NEC complained about trucking of potential voters from one county to the other .

“There has been serval massive trucking of voters from one county to another by candidates in an attempt to again unfair advantage over other contestants”.

This, he noted is creating artificial appaerence of constituents in counties.

Additionally, the senatorial expectant raised concern over multiple times registration at same centers.

According to the political contestant, an individual registered under three names at different centers in Bomi and Margibi Counties respectively under the following aliases.

Mr. Benard Blue Benson at the same time said they are concern about their inability to verify information on the National Elections Commission Website.
